how do I go about finding an agent to take on this project and find a home for my work?
I received a question a few weeks ago from Jose Torres. Here is Jose's question.
"I see a lot out there about writing short stories and novels but not much about scripts writing, especially animation. I have a wonderful animated story and it will do excellent in the right hands of a producer, so my question is how do I go about finding an agent to take on this project and find a home for my work?
Thanks,
Jose"
Check out my answer below:
"Hello
Thanks for contacting us. My advice to your question is to google Script agents. There are plenty of sites that will help you. I did a little research for you and came across some great sites that can help you find agents in that literary field. I've also found some articles that can help you get started. writersnet.com will help you find agents in your area. They will explain how to inquire with them. Agents should NOT ask for money before they work for you or before you are paid a dime. The agent should get paid when you get paid.
Check out these links. They should be helpful. I am going to post your question and my response on The POV Lounge November 10th for other readers to read and respond.
Thanks for contacting us and if you have anymore questions, don't hesitate to ask!
