1. New Author's Spotlight Submission

   My name is Valerie Brown. My book entitled "Flowing in the Spirit" was published by Monarch Publications, LLC in August 2009. http://www.monarchpublicationsllc.webs.com I am a woman inspired by God to write poetry. I believe my life is much bigger than me and I use my gift to encourage people of all walks of life to aim higher. I am a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, where I obtained a business degree. I reside with my husband and two children in Cincinnati, Ohio. I began writing at the age of 14. At that time it was just simple words on paper, a way to release my thoughts. It was not until I began living for Christ in my early twenties that the words would take on a life of their own. I write from experience or I imagine myself as someone else. It is my desire to share the words that God has given me to help, heal, and renew the spirit. "Flowing in the Spirit" is my first collection of heart-felt writings from the soul.
